A drive through the Drive through high altitude passes of Rohtang and Kunzum Pass, Camp about 2 kms away from the blue waters of Chandratal Lake, spend a night at the stunning Chandratal Lake, blue lake shaped like a crescent moon. & Try your hand at night photography and capture star trails and the Milky Way. Pass through the greenery of the Kinnaur Valley, and ends in Manali.

1
Day 1: Chandigarh – Sarahan
In the morning, starting from Chandigarh drive to Sarahan, (172 km) it is a beautiful village surrounded by apple orchards and dominated by Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5155 M) which resembles the “Shivling.” On arrival check into Hotel. Evening free to stroll and Dinner at the Hotel & overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 2: Sarahan – Sangla
The morning after breakfast, visit the Bhimakali Temple, a wonderful mixture of Buddhist and Hindu architecture. It is very sacred to both communities. The Bhimakali goddess idol is approximately 200 years old and the temple is built of wood, offering splendid views of Neelkant Peak Drive onwards to Sangla Valley (122kms) Lunch en route; dinner & overnight in camp.

Day 3: Sangla Valley – Chitkul – Sangla Valley
Morning after breakfast, full-day sightseeing tour, visiting the ancient and exquisite villages of Chitkul, Rakcham & the 400 years old Kamru Fort, standing majestically on top of a hillock. Lunch, Dinner & overnight in camps at Sangla valley.

Day 4: Sangla – Chitkul – Kalpa
The morning after breakfast, depart for Kalpa. Arrive in Kalpa early afternoon. On arrival check into the Hotel. After lunch day free to walk around this old & exquisite village. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel in Kalpa.

Day 5: At Kalpa
In the morning after breakfast, relax or ride to the nearby town bazaar. After lunch, walk to the ancient Roghi Village, which offers a good opportunity to observe the lifestyle of the inhabitants, its architecture, customs, and religion. Lunch, Dinner & overnight in Hotel.

Day 6: Kalpa – Reckong Peo – Telangi – Kothi – Pangi – Kalpa
The morning after breakfast, visit Reckong Peo, district headquarters of the Kinnaur region, and the new Buddhist Monastery built to commemorate his holiness the Dalai Lama’s “Kalchakra Sermon.” Explore the ancient villages of Kothi, Telangi, Pangi (the last village on the Hindustan Rd). Lunch, dinner, overnight at Kalpa.

Day 7: Kalpa – Jangi – Puh – Khab – Nako
The morning after a leisurely breakfast, drive 122 km to Nako. As you drive onward towards Spiti Valley, you experience Timberline–a line beyond which forests do not grow. The barren and rugged brown mountains start from Jangi which get more rugged and barren after Puh (2837 M). Continue along the Sutlej River until you reach Khab (2831 Mt), the confluence (Sangam) of rivers Sutlej and Spiti, where you break for picnic lunch. A direct climb up takes us to Nako (3959 M). On arrival check into Camp. After lunch, walk through the village to the Temple of Padmasambhava, the second incarnation of Lord Budha. Also, visit Nako Lake and explore ancient history. Dinner & overnight in Camps.

Day 8:Nako – Tabo
The morning after breakfast, drive to Tabo 64 km, entrance to the Spiti Valley. Geographically and archaeologically, Spiti is a living museum. The mountains are devoid of any vegetation due to erosion by wind, sun, and snow over thousands of years. On arrival check into Tabo Monastery. After lunch, climb up to the village Tabo (3050 M). Built around the year 996 AD, the Chos Khor Monastery at Tabo is the largest monastery in Spiti and one of the few remaining examples of the Golden Period of Buddhist Culture in the Himalayan Region. Return to Tabo for Dinner & Overnight stay here.

Day 9: Tabo – Dankar
The morning after breakfast, drive 46 km to Dankar, the traditional “Capital of Spiti” and on arrival check into Camps. After lunch, visit Dankar Gompa (3890 M), the hilltop fort that dominates the scene, once served as a jail. It contains more than 160 scriptures of Lamas and Buddhists in the Bhoti language. Dinner & overnight stay at Camps.

Day 10: Dankar – Ki, and Kibber – Kaza
The morning after breakfast, drive 45 km to Kaza. En-route Visit the ancient Ki and Kibber Gompas, which are among the highest inhabited villages in the world. Later on, arrival checks into camps located just outside the village of Kaza. After lunchtime, at leisure. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 11: Kaza – Chatru
The morning after breakfast, drive 160 km to Chatru (3560m) over the famous Kunzum Pass (4551 M). Later on arrival check into Camp. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 12: Kaza – Chandra Taal – Komic Village
The morning after breakfast, drive onwards to Chandrataal Lake. Explore the beauty of Chandrataal Lake and Komic Village. Dinner and overnight stay at Camps.

Day 13: Komic Village – Rohtang Pass – Manali
The morning after breakfast, drive onwards to Manali, 115 km. Cross Rohtang Pass and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the snow-covered peaks and beautiful green lush valleys, after crossing Rohtang. Later on, arrival check into Hotel. Dinner & overnight in Hotel.

Day 14: Manali
The morning after breakfast, drive to the village of Naggar (2100m). A quaint village with its many ancient temples including the 11th-12th century Temple Gauri and the Tripura Sundri Devi Temple. Also, visit the Roerich Gallery above the village. Later drive to Manali. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch walking tour. Visiting Dhungri Temple (also known as Hadimba Temple by locals) & the Old Manali town. Return to Hotel via Vashit (the hot springs), where you can take a dip in the ancient pond. Dinner & Overnight in Hotel.

Day 15: Manali – Chandigarh
Early morning after breakfast, drive to Chandigarh and your tour ends here.
