Description
Beas Kund Trek is a popular 3 days trek in Kullu Valley. Beas Kund is the source of River Beas and is famous as one of the beautiful camping sites in Manali. It’s an easy-going trek for people of any age group. Any beginner trekker can give it a shot You can witness mesmerizing Shithidhar, Friendship, and Ladakhi Peak from here. This kind is well known as a holy lake in the name of Rishi Vyas. This trek covers around 47 km and takes you to an altitude of over 12,000 feet. Best time for this trek is April to November.
Tour Plan
1
Day 1: Manali -Solang Nallah (2480m) 4 hours
On arrival in Manali, our representative will be there to receive you. Start your journey from the peaceful Old Manali through the beautiful apple orchards. After ascending gradually we will reach the cultural villages like Sannag & Goshal. After crossing the river, we further enter the traditional village Burua. Then follow a rocky trail to the bouldering area of Solang Nallah by crossing a stream. As there is no bridge on the stream, it will be a memorable experience.

Day 2: Solang Nallah – Bakkar Thach (2900m) 12km 5hrs
Today start your trek from Solang Nallah. Walk on the right side of the Beas river through the oak, fir, and walnut forest. This beautiful route gives glimpses of majestic Deo Tibba (6001 m), Indrasan Peak (6221 m), and Hanuman Tibba (5990 m).

Day 3: Bakkar Thach – Beas Kund (3690 m) – Bakkar Thach (2900m) 6 hrs
Start your journey towards Bakkar Thach, it’s a high-altitude Sheppard field. Cross the meadow, keep following the trail full of boulders and rocks up to Beas Kund. Finally, you reach Beas Kund also Known As Tiny Lake, and the source of the river Beas. This place is also a base camp for the wonderful summits around. After enjoying the scenery for a while start your trek back to Bakkar Thach.

Day 4: Bakkar Thach – Solang – Manali (4 hours)
After breakfast start your journey back to Solang Nallah, from where you will be dropped at Manali.
