Arrive Amritsar, transfer to hotel and check in. Visit the Golden Temple and later visit the massacre of Jalian Wallan Bagh. Afternoon little free time to rest and evening around 3 PM drive to Wagah Border to see the Closing Ceremony, event starts exactly by 5.30 PM everyday. Border closing ‘lowering of the flags’ ceremony is a daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan.This ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at the Wagah border, which as part of the Grand Trunk Road was the only road link between these two countries before the opening of the Aman Setu in Kashmir in 1999. The ceremony starts with a blustering parade by the soldiers from both the sides and ends up in the perfectly coordinated lowering of the two nations flags, it is called the beating retreat border ceremony on the international level. One infantryman (Jawan) stands at attention on each side of the gate. As the sun sets, the iron gate at the border is opened and the flags are lowered. The flags are folded and the ceremony ends with a retreat that involves a brusque handshake between soldiers from either side. Return back to Hotel and Overnight.

Morning leave for Dharamshala.. Arrive and check in at Hotel. Proceed for local sightseeing in Dharamshala.

Drive to Mc Leodganj (Dharamsala), magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains and the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening visit Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Overnight at hotel.Overnight stay at Hotel.

In the morning start your journey from Dharamshala to Shimla..

Today you will be taken for a tour in the afternoon to the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu Temple, and Kufri. Also included in the tour is the visit to The Mall and The Ridge.

Start early from Shimla. Travel 176 KM to reach Sarahan. It will take 6 hours. On the way at a distance of 65 KM is Narkanda. You can take a short trip to Hatu peak. After reaching Sarahan visit Bhimakali temple. Night stay at Sarahan.

Start from Sarahan and leave for Sangla. ( 94 KM ). If time permits visit Chitkul the last village of Indian side, another 26 KM and return to Sangla or stay at Chitkul. Or you can visit Chitkul next day. Night stay at Sangla.

Start from Sangla and leave for Kalpa. 51 KM , three hours drive. If you have not visited Chitkul then visit Chitkul and return to Sangla and then proceed to Kalpa. Night stay at Kapla. If time permits visit Kalpa village.

Pack up your luggage, check out from the hotel and then trace the routes to Tabo . On the way catch the glimpses Satluj-Spiti river confluence at Khab and also take a halt at Nako. Arrive Tabo , check into the hotel and spend the day at your leisure . Overnight stay in hotel/ homestay.

Today after breakfast visit an ancient monastery called Tabo Monastery (existing since 997 AD). Later head on for Kaza while enroute covering Dhankar Monastery, Dhankar Lake Trek and Lhalung. Upon arriving Kaza homestay take a refreshing rest. Have diner and overnight stay in Kaza Home stay

Enjoy a delicious morning meal and get ready for one of its kind trip. Discover fossils of marine life at Langza, receive blessings in Kornik Monastry and witness local culture at Gette and kibber. At last it is time to return to Kaza for a relaxing Overnight stay.

After breakfast proceed from Kaza to Manali. The route takes a traveler over Kunzum pass. Kunzum Pass, at the height of 4,590 m is a high mountain pass on the eastern Kunzum Range of the Himalayas which connects the Lahaul Valley with the Spiti Valley. Evening arrive Keylong and check-in at hotel. Keylong is located along the Manali-Leh Highway, about 7 km north-east of intersection of the Chandra Valley, the Bhaga Valley, and the Chenab Valley; on the banks of Bhaga River. Overnight at hotel.

Today after breakfast drive to Bhaga river upstream past Jispa and the settlement of Darcha (Police Check Post), the last village of Lahaul- North East wards to Patseo. Enroute either side you can see the hanging Glacier and Mulkila range of mountains. The road ascends all the way to Baralacha-La (4890 mtrs), which gives rise to three rivers Viz Chandra, Bhaga and Yunam, After Baralacha- la the road follows along Yunam river to the pleatau of Sarchu plains.

Today early morning drive is recommended to ensure that you enjoy the beauty of winds at Rupdhu Plateau and magnificent panoramic view during the day light so that you can take lots of pictures during day light. After ascending to Lachalung- La- The road descends to the more plains. One may sight the wild Asses grazing on the plains. Soon after you cover the 45 kms ground of the Pang Plains the road ascends to Tanglang-La, the second highest Motorable Pass in the world down to Rumtse- pshi. From Upshi the road follows along Indus river all the way past Hemis, shey, Thikse- Chglamsar to Leh.

After breakfast, proceed for Sightseeing on the Leh- Srinagar Highway. Visit the Hall of Fame (A Museum developed by the Indian Army), Kali Mandir Temple and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib (A Gurudwara constructed and maintained by the Indian Army) Visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Proceed further and experience the effects of Magnetic Hill (Defiance of the law of gravity wherein a vehicle starts climbing up the hill when put in a neutral position) and admire the confluence of holy Indus and Zanskar, Proceed to Alchi and Likir and return to Leh for an overnight stay.

After breakfast visit the Monasteries of Shey, Thiksey, and Stok Palace.
Shey – it was the ancient capital of Ladakh and even after Singge Namgyal built the more imposing palace at Leh, the kings continued to regard Shey, as their real home. The importance which was attached to Shey – the seat of Ladakh’s heartland – is attested by the enormous number of Chorten about the village, particularly around the palace complex and barren plain to the north of the road.
Thiksey –is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompa containing images, stupas and exquisite wall paintings. It also houses a two – storied statue of Buddha which has the main prayer hall around its shoulder.
Hemis – Beautiful monastery located in Karu.
Overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.

After leisurely breakfast, leave for Alchi / Uleytokpo on the first leg of the journey to Kargil and Srinagar. On the way visit Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point, Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) and then the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic complex famous for its wall frescoes and architecture – a UNESCO listed heritage site. Overnight in fixed camp / resort at Uleytokpo.

After breakfast leave for Kargil. On the way you can visit the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining “Moonland” hills. Later drive towards Leh.
