Today after arrival at Manali, Meet our representatives. After this drive to Jobra from where the Hampta pass trekking originates. At this transfer point, start for an easy ascent to Chika. It’s an easy trek to the Chika campsite on the banks of Rani Nallah, a trek that walks you into a mixed forest of pine, green maple and birch trees. With the mesmerizing topography of the Himachal coming into play, you barely realize the climb. While trekking, walk along with River Rani who introduces the surroundings of big rocky hills in absolute splendour. Enjoy an overnight stay and dinner at the tents in Chika.

On this day, the trek will begin from Chitka which will take you through grasslands and rocky paths to the next site. On the way you will witness grasslands which are covered with beautiful wildflowers post monsoon season. The trail further leads to a small stream of about 10 ft, with ice cold water. This stream needs to be crossed carefully as the rocks are slippery. So remove your shoes for a better grip and also getting yourself wet may ruin your further days. Moving along you’ll get to a flat area, covered with sand depositions. Now you are not too far away from your destination. Another half an hour walk will lead to your campsite. From here you can view the beautiful Bandarpunch peak of the Dhauladhar Range.

Today after breakfast leave from Balu ka Ghera campsite. The ascent from here is most incline you face during whole trek. Keep drinking enough water. With the specified precautions, we walk safely to our next campsite, Shea Ghoru which is the coldest place in your trek.

After an early trek starts today a sightseeing road trip to The Chandrataal lake.The trail will be upto Chhatru today which is the last campsite. There is a stream flowing by your campsite which needs to be crossed. You must cross the river in the early hours of the day as the water level will be low at this time of the day. The ice-chilled water will almost freeze you but the experience will be mind blowing. There will be a night halt at Chhatru campsite.

The road from Chhatru to Batal following Chandra River is arid, barren and full of rock debris. The majestic views of the many high mountains of the Himalayas that surround the valley like Indrasan, the Bara Shigri glacier, the Manalsu glacier, the Dhauladhar and Pirpanjal ranges including Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba and Rohtang Pass on the Manali – Spti Highway will leave you awestruck.

Today we will trek 18 kms to reach Chandratal and it will take us about 5-6 hrs, while on this trek we will get a nice view of the Lahaul range, peaks like Minar(6172 M), Talagiri(6279 M), Tara Pahar(6227 M) and Mulkila (6517 M). Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

This is a gradual walk as the trail rises and falls several times, but mostly continues beside the river. Approaching Tokpoyongma, the trail ascends from the mountainside and crosses a stream. A little before the campsite, a river has to be negotiated.

The next day starts early to facilitate crossing two mountain streams before the water level rises during the day. The trail is a sheer delight with lovely views of the majestic ice-clad peaks, of the Chandrabhaga range. Based on the situation at the time of the trek, you will be required to either wade through icy cold waters of a stream or walk through snowy bridges to reach the campsite at Tokpo Yongma. Camp in the lovely and serene campsite, dotted with local shepherds, and spend the night in the lap of nature.

The day will be tough. You need to climb some steep slopes of Chandra Valley to enjoy stunning sights of snowy Himalayan ranges past the Baralacha Pass. Ascend to the Baralacha La South peak and then descend to cross over a river. After this patch, make way through a lovely and lengthy meadow stretch to arrive at Baralacha La North summit. Head Over to Bharatpur and Rest for the day.

Head over back to Manali from Keylong. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight in at the hotel..
